Donate Your Time to Local Golf

Think about giving some of your time to the local golf teams. This is a great means of public relations... you may not make a great amount of immediate money, but the fact that you helped out the junior golfers will solidify in their minds - and their parents minds - your kindness when it comes to actually purchasing or upgrading equipment.  Here are some ideas:

1. Give a free rules clinic to your local high (and middle) school team(s)
2. Do a free equipment analysis to check for worn grips, bent shafts, etc.
3. Distribute hats with your logo (if permitted by league rules) to each coach and player
4. Offer discounts on certain work to the high school players
5. If you teach or have a range (or indoor net), perhaps offer use of your time or the equipment at no cost or at a reduced cost to the players during the season.

The follow-up sales based on your willingness to assist serious junior golfers will pay off quickly. These have been just a few ideas to get you thinking about how to help promote high school - or for that matter, college - golf in your area.
