How To Use DSFI When Fitting A Client

3. Check Swing Speed:
Use some type of measuring device to gain an accurate picture of how fast a player swings. This will be a basis of DSFI fitting.

4. Look at Swing Tempo:
A fast swinger may be helped by heavier shafts; a slower one with lighter shafts.

5. Look for Assembly Parameters That May Influence Shaft Performance:
Things such as club length, swingweight, grip weight and bore type may have an influence on how to trim a given shaft to obtain the performance that you are seeking.

6. Choose Some Shaft Possibilities to Test:
Use the DSFI tables to make some shaft selections for hit testing.
