8. Take Note of Shaft and Head Compatibility:
Be sure the shafts chosen will work in the heads selected. For example, a shaft with a 2" parallel tip section will not work in a head with a 3" bore depth without major modifications to the head.

9. Sort Shafts by Weight, Material, Bend Point and Balance Point:
Doing so will provide playable options to the player, each with different feels.
