While 2-piece putter grips for long & belly putters grips do pose somewhat of a challenge, by following a few simple rules, installation is made quite easy.

1. Run the grip tape all the way down the shaft to the point at which the lower grip will stop. The tape should run the full length

to the bottom of the lower grip.

2. To make installation of the lower grip easier, heating it for a few seconds with a heat gun may make it a bit more pliable.

3. You will need to use generous amounts of solvent in the lower grip and on the grip tape to ensure the lower grip slides into position easily. Obviously, the club must be secured in a vise
