| After consideration of comments received, the provisions of the head size and club length proposal dated May 14, 2003 have been approved for implementation by the USGA I&B and Executive Committees. These new limits will become effective on January 1, 2004. A one-year grace period will be allowed for clubs exceeding these limits that are already in use prior to January 2004. This grace period will conclude on December 31, 2004. |
